Scheduled date for Daylight Saving Bill debate

The Parliamentary debate for Peter Wellington’s Daylight Saving for South East Queensland Referendum Bill is scheduled for Wednesday evening 6 April 2011.

So now is the time to show your support!!

We invite everyone to join us in attending this session of Queensland Parliament, and show your support for having Daylight Saving in South East Queensland.

We aim to gather beforehand to demonstrate our support, meeting at the Parliament House main entrance at 6:15pm and entering the gallery at 7:00pm.  Parliament House is located at the corner of George and Alice Streets (entrance to public gallery on George Street, near QUT pedestrian entrance).  Please confirm your attendance by emailing secretary@ds4seq.org.au so we know how many of you to expect.

Don’t forget to e-sign the current Parliamentary e-Petition, which calls on the Government to support Mr Wellington’s Bill and hold a trial and referendum on Daylight Saving in South East Queensland.
